0 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T
The 1969 Coronet R/T and Super Bee received some minor changes from the 1968 year. Essentially, the sheet metal remained the same. However, minor changes to the grill, tail lights, side marker lights (rectangular instead of round as in 1968) and other new options separate the '69.
The most noticeable addition was the introduction of a dual scoop fresh air scoop system called the Ramcharger and the optional 440cid 6bbl motor (Six Pack). These were both options that were available to the Plymouth Road Runner and GTX.
The Super Bee was now offered in a hardtop instead of just a sedan and included a new bumble bee stripe.
The optional 440 Six Pack Coronet was a true drag race machine. It was built for but one purpose - drag racing. For those who opted for this special model they received the powerful 440 6bbl motor complete with three holley two barrels, alumnium intake, beefy rods, and aggressive cam. They also got a fiberglass liftoff hood with a massive cold air scoop and a Dana 60 rear end with 4.10 gears. The car was available with either a 4 speed or automatic. However, all cars rolled on simple black steel rims. These are highly collectable and prized vehicles.

0 1968 L88 Corvette
1968 L88 Corvette was among those classic muscle cars that were able to go at 170 miles per hour top speed. It was thought to be the best ever made model by the Corvette world for its muscle car buyers. This car got 8th position in our top 10 classic American muscle cars list. The inclusion of 550 bhp motor in this vehicle clearly tell us that its manufacturing purpose was to build a racing car and actually the company had intention to limit this car to tracks only because of its power.

0 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport
And fast the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is. An advantage to going with the targa top is that Bugatti has tuned the Grand Sport to maintain the hard top Veyron 16.4′s top speed of 253 mph when the roof is in place, with the top speed dropping to a still-ridiculous 223.7 mph! Imagine the wind blowing your face off at speeds like this, and you can get a feel for why the Veyron Grand Sport should be as exciting as any convertible or other roadster model on the market.

0 Rolls-Royce
It's been over a decade since Rolls-Royce last offered a Corniche, which was the company's name for its unibody coupe and convertible models since the early 1970s. But from the looks of what our photographers recently snapped in Munich, that drought may soon be over.
What they've spied is the 2014 Rolls-Royce Corniche coupe, a forthcoming model based on the Rolls-Royce Ghost. Never mind the fake door handles and rear doors on the test mules, the production Corniche will have just two suicide doors like its big brother the Phantom coupe.
Powertrain will probably be carried over from the Ghost sedan, meaning a 6.6-liter V12. We suspect thatBMW will roll out its new Roller at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013. Until then, our spies will keep their eyes open for more prototypes, including the oft-rumored convertible

0 Ford’s Mustang Boss 302
Ford’s Mustang Boss 302 is, without a doubt, one of the most enjoyable cars we’ve ever driven. Yes, it’s unabashedly primal, and, yes, it never stops shouting. And with 444 angry horses on tap, it has us shouting nonstop, too. It’s a deafeningly loud muscle car, this Mustang, but it also happens to be a solidly capable sports car. It’s just as happy taking corners as it is charging in the straights, making it the perfect vehicle for impromptu stoplight drags or late-night canyon runs. Given the inevitable collectibility of this modern-era Boss, we can only hope that current owners of the car are doing more than just “hard parking” it in their climate-controlled garages.

0 How does a jet truck work?
Shockwave, a triple jet-engine truck on a 260-inch (660-cm) wheelbase, holds the Guinness record for jet-truck speed at 376 miles per hour (605 kph). Driving on a runway, Shockwave racesairplanes that are flying above it at 300 miles per hour.
Shockwave uses three Pratt & Whitney J34-48 engines, also used in the U.S. Navy's T2A Buckeye plane. The engines are arranged in a pyramid formation, tilted at a three-degree angle to help keep the 6,800-pound (3,084 kg) truck on the ground.
The engines produce a total of 36,000 horsepower and 19,000 pounds of static thrust. The outlet of the engine is fitted with a special fuel line that carries raw diesel fuel to a ring-like burner inside the outlet. This dumping of raw diesel fuel into the burner creates flames and smoke that make for some very special effects.
The front of the truck is the only stock part, an original 1985 Peterbilt cab.

0 EngineLabs Tries to Pry Secrets out of Bob Glidden
Pro Stock drag racing is one of the most secretive motorsport disciplines, at least in pit ritual. You can squawk about the high-stakes involved in Formula 1 and sports car prototypes, but the ultra-close racing in Pro Stock over the years indicates there is a very high-octane rivalry yet competitive balance going on between the major engine builders.
